- Image Description: Night telescope. The barrel is covered in leather and the single draw tube and the other fittings are made of silvered brass. There is a sliding sunshade and a pivoted eyepiece lens cover. An inscription on the draw tube indicates the maker as well as the fact that it is an achromatic night telescope. It has a large objective lens to allow as much light as possible to enter the telescope in poor seeing conditions.
